Halloumi Stroganoff recipe

400 g halloumi

1 yellow onion

2 red peppers

oil, for frying

3 Tbsp. tomato paste

200 g of mushrooms

1 Tbsp. Japanese soy

2 Tbsp. concentrated vegetable fund

150 ml water

300 ml cream

1 Tbsp. white wine vinegar

0.5 pot chives (optional)

black pepper



1. Cut the halloumi into pieces. Fry the halloumi in a hot frying pan with some oil. Put aside.

2. Peel and slice the onion. Divide, deseed and cut the peppers into smaller pieces. Slice the mushrooms.

3. Fry the onions and peppers in oil in a frying pan. Add the mushrooms and fry for a few more minutes. Add the tomato paste and fry for another minute.

4. Add vegetable fond, water, soy and vinegar. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat and add the cream. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.

5. Add the fried halloumi. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice and finely chopped chives.
