Butter Fried Potatoes recipe
4½ Tbsp. + 1½ Tbsp. butter
2 large potatoes, cut into ½-inch cubes
½ onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1. Melt 4½ tablespoons of butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the potatoes and cook and until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, melt the remaining 1½ tablespoons butter in another saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking until garlic is lightly browned, 5 to 10 more minutes.
3. Stir onion mixture into potatoes and cook until potatoes are tender, about 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
