Pasta Alfredo recipe. Pasta Alfredo is a lovely, creamy past made from a few ingredients: butter, cream and cheese.
24 oz. dry fettuccini pasta
1 cup butter
¾ pint heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
1 dash garlic salt
¾ cup grated Romano cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Drain with the help of a strainer or colander.
2. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add cream and butter, and let the butter melt. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt. Stir in cheese and stir until it is melted.
3. Stir in the pasta to the sauce and make sure all the pasta is coated with sauce before serving immediately.
