Chicken pasta with mushrooms M
Chicken pasta with mushrooms. Chicken and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
200 g pasta
400 g chicken fillet, cut into strips
1 Tbsp. butter
1 leek, thinly sliced
200 g mushrooms, e.g. whit button or chestnut, cut into pieces
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. Chinese soy sauce
2 tsp. concentrated chicken stock
200 ml cream
100 g mange-tout or sugar snaps, sliced
salt and pepper
4 Tbsp. basil leaves, shredded
1. Cook the pasta accordingly to the instructions on the package. Drain in a strainer or colander when done.
2. In a frying pan, fry the chicken in butter. Add leek, mushrooms and garlic, and fry until the chicken is cooked through.
3. Add soy sauce, stock and cream and bring to a boil. Add mange-tout or sugar snaps, simmer for at couple of minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add basil leaves.
