INGREDIENTS
1 cup + ¼ cup water
¼ cup soy sauce
5 tsp. packed brown sugar
1 Tbsp. honey
½ tsp. ground ginger
¼ tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
DIRECTIONS
1. In a saucepan, combine one cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder. Bring to a medium heat. Cook for 1 minute.
2. Using a mixing cup, mix cornstarch and the additional ¼ cup water together until the cornstarch is completely dissolved. Pour into the saucepan and cook the sauce for about 5 minutes, until thickened, stirring occasionally.
