Spicy Tuna Hand Roll Recipe
3 sheets of roasted seaweed (sushi nori)
7 oz. tuna sashimi grade
1 green onion
1 Tbsp. Japanese mayo, or regular
1 Tbsp. sriracha, or other hot sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 cup of sushi rice
*Kaiware are sprouted daikon radish seeds, can be substituted with cress, alfalfa or any sprout of your choice.
1. Cut each nori sheet in halves.
2. Cut the tuna into smaller pieces and then cut green onions. Combine the tuna and onions and chop again until finely chopped. In a bowl combine tuna and green onions with mayo, hot sauce, and soy sauce.
4. Spread ¼ of the sushi rice onto a nori sheet, sprinkle with sprouts and then add 1/4 of the tuna mixture. Roll the nori sheet into a cone. Repeat until you have done four cones.
