INGREDIENTS

1/2 yellow onion

1 Tbsp. oil

1 tsp. ginger, minced

1 tsp. garlic, minced

10 oz. vegetarian mince

2 Tbsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. Sake

1 Tbsp. Soy sauce

3-4 Tbsp. red Miso paste

DIRECTIONS

1. Finely chop onion.


2. In a frying pan, heat oil at medium heat and add ginger and garlic. Fry for about 30 seconds.  Add vegetarian mince and cook until it gets some colour.


3. Add chopped onion, and fry until soft.


4. Season with sugar, Sake, Soy Sauce, and red Miso paste. Cook for about 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
