Peanut butter cookies recipe

INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
DIRECTIONS
1. In a bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Stir until smooth, and then beat in the eggs one at a time.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture.
3. Let dough rest for 1 hour in a refrigerator.
4. When one hour have past, or when you are ready to bake the cookies, preheat the oven to 375°F.
5. With your hands, shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
6. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes or until the cookies turn brown.
7. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
