Chocolate chip cookies I
Chocolate chip cookies. Classic cookies filled to the brim with chocolate chips.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, combine the butter, white and brown sugar. Stir until smooth, then beat in the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla and give it good stir.
3. Dissolve baking soda and salt in hot water and add to the batter. Give it a another good stir, dividing the mixture evenly.
4. Stir in the flour, chocolate chips, and nuts.
5. Onto a parchment paper drop 20-24 large spoonfuls of batter. Make sure to leave enough space in-between, as they will spread in the oven.
6. Bake for about 10 minutes in the oven, or until edges turn nicely brown.
